☀️ Bringing Warmth to the Most Vulnerable

March 23, 2026

More than 4,000 emergency kits reached some of the most vulnerable residents of Kyiv, including internally displaced families, people with disabilities, railway workers, and families of cancer patients. The project was made possible through the generosity and solidarity of people in Germany and beyond.

Over 4,000 emergency kits have been delivered directly into the hands of people who need them most.

And we will continue our distributions until the end of March.

At the same time, we focus on those who are especially vulnerable. Together with trusted partners, Ukraine2Power is reaching people whose needs are often unseen:

  • More than 300 families of internally displaced women, including mothers raising children with disabilities, supported together with the NGO Litai. Many of these women fled the frontlines with their children and are now trying to rebuild a sense of safety in completely new surroundings.
  • People with hearing impairments, supported together with the Ukrainian Society of the Deaf. People who cannot hear air raid sirens and, in the worst case, may not be able to call for help under the rubble.
  • Internally displaced communities from the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, including people from the Siversk, Mangush, Nikolske, Sartana, Lysychansk, Kalchyk, and Tarashcha communities. Now living in Kyiv after fleeing the frontlines, often with just one small bag of belongings.
  • The Union of Workers of JSC “Ukrainian Railways”, who continue to maintain Ukraine’s critical railway infrastructure under constant pressure and attacks, keeping the country moving.
  • Families of cancer patients, supported together with the NGO “Razom Proty Raku”. People who are fighting for their lives while also facing blackouts, cold homes, and uncertainty.

⚡️ Our emergency kits, including power banks, thermoses, flashlights, gas heaters, and sleeping bags, help families stay warm and maintain basic stability during power outages. They also become essential when people have to move to shelters during drone and missile attacks.

This support is made possible by donations from people in Germany and beyond, who chose to stand with Ukraine during a very difficult winter.

These kits bring warmth, light, and the feeling of not being alone.

💙💛 Thank you to everyone who made this possible.
