💙 Some of the Most Moving Distributions of Our Winter Project

June 5, 2026

As part of Ukraine2Power’s Winter Project, people with hearing and visual impairments received essential support to help them stay warm and navigate daily life during ongoing power outages.

This is how our team described the latest deliveries in Kyiv.

Throughout the project, we bought most of the items for our heating kits in Ukraine. However, some blankets arrived later than expected, and we are now delivering the remaining supplies to those who need them most.

This time, the assistance reached people with hearing and visual impairments, among those most affected by power outages and the ongoing consequences of the energy crisis.

The gratitude we received was overwhelming. Many shared how much these items will help in their daily lives, bringing additional warmth, comfort, and a sense of care during difficult times.

🤝 Special thanks to Lesia Petrivska, Commissioner for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities of the Kyiv City State Administration, and the Ukrainian Society of the Deaf (UTOG) for helping organize this distribution.

We are deeply grateful to everyone in Germany and beyond whose generosity and solidarity made this support possible. 💙💛
