Tackling Energy Insecurity in Ukraine

In Ukraine, energy means security.
We support communities with sustainable power solutions — solar stations, batteries, and backup systems — to keep the lights on where it matters most.

Our projects

Ukraine’s restored and rebuilt energy system should be stronger and more stable than it was before the massive destruction. Through our projects, we help communities develop decentralized energy generation and bring light exactly where it’s needed most.

Energy storage

Ongoing

We help schools maintain access to electricity even during power outages. To achieve this, we install battery storage systems and equipment that automatically switch on when the main power supply is cut off. These batteries store energy when electricity is available and then supply it to the school’s system during outages. This is a safe and quiet alternative to generators — no fuel is needed, and the air remains clean. As a result, children can continue learning without interruption, both online and offline. Our goal is to help schools operate reliably and safely, regardless of external conditions.

Solar power plant

Ongoing

We install solar power systems at facilities that operate year-round and are critical to the community: hospitals, water utilities, schools, kindergartens, administrative buildings, and more.
A solar power plant enables these facilities to generate their electricity from a renewable source — the sun. It operates silently, requires no fuel, and provides stable power even when the energy system is unreliable. This is a long-term solution that reduces dependence on the central grid, helps save money, and strengthens the community's energy resilience. When combined with battery storage systems, a solar power system ensures full backup power without additional fuel costs or complex maintenance.

Mobile charging stations

Завершений
Повністю профінансований

We have already delivered nearly 100 mobile charging stations to communities, and they are actively being used at critical infrastructure sites — primarily in hospitals, as well as in schools, kindergartens, and by Ukrzaliznytsia repair crews. This is modern German-made equipment with a capacity of 7 kWh, designed to provide fast backup power during electricity outages. The stations are easy to transport and quick to deploy, which is especially important for medical facilities, emergency services, field hospitals, and mobile repair teams. In hospitals, these systems have proven particularly effective: they provide stable, clean power without voltage fluctuations — which is crucial for sensitive medical equipment. Unlike diesel generators, they operate silently, without smoke or harmful emissions, making them safe for indoor use. We do not donate these stations but provide them free of charge for temporary use, ensuring flexible and efficient deployment where they are needed most.
