Reliable Power for Children in Ukraine’s Sumy Region
Ukraine2Power installed energy storage systems for schools in Konotop and a kindergarten in Chupakhivka in less than one month
DetailsUkraine2Power is a Ukrainian non-governmental organization established to overcome the consequences of Russian attacks on Ukraine's energy grid. We focus on ensuring energy resilience and independence for local communities, supporting efficient reconstruction through clean, decentralized energy, and promoting knowledge of energy security and green power. We also foster international exchange of expertise and innovation.
From solar stations to energy storage and modular backup units, we provide communities with the power they need to keep critical services running during blackouts.
Ukraine’s recovery must result in a grid that can withstand large-scale attacks. Our mission is to drive this transformation through decentralized energy solutions.
We help schools maintain access to electricity even during power outages. To achieve this, we install battery storage systems and equipment that automatically switch on when the main power supply is cut off. These batteries store energy when electricity is available and then supply it to the school’s system during outages.
This is a safe and quiet alternative to generators — no fuel is needed, and the air remains clean. As a result, children can continue learning without interruption, both online and offline. Our goal is to help schools operate reliably and safely, regardless of external conditions.
