New partnership with Solarspar

February 10, 2025

🤝🎉 We’re excited to announce a new partnership with Solarspar, a Swiss association with 30 years of experience in financing, building, and operating solar energy systems. Solarspar is our first supporter of a pilot hybrid solar power plant at Rozhnyativ Multidisciplinary Hospital in Ivano-Frankivsk region. Rozhnyativ, like much of Ivano-Frankivsk region, faces regular drone strikes and power outages. However, its location, 1,200 kilometers from the front lines, offers a safer environment for installing solar power systems.

⚡️ Plans are in place to supply energy to the surgical building of the hospital.

The surgical or main building is the largest in the Rozhnyativ Multidisciplinary Hospital complex, housing the principal inpatient departments. It includes a surgical unit, a trauma unit, obstetrics and gynaecology unit, a neurology unit, an emergency unit, an intensive care unit, an X-ray room, and a tomography scanner on the ground floor. An oxygen station is also situated nearby. This facility treats over 5,000 patients annually.

However, we still need to secure additional funding to accomplish the project. The roof needs to be reinforced for the installation, and the remaining project budget is still open. We are also looking for partners who can help us by providing materials such as PV modules, batteries, and inverters.

We are incredibly grateful to Solarspar for making a difference in this community.
