More mobile charging station for schools
🔋 At the end of last year, Ukraine2Power provided Derhachi Lyceum No.2 with a mobile charging station. It is installed in the school building and is used during power outages. Residents of the city can also come and charge their devices on the school's premises.
Every day, the lyceum holds “catch-up” classes to make up for educational losses, despite the constant shelling. That’s why weekly seminars and workshops are organized to provide psychological support for the children.
💥 For three years, the Derhachi community has endured constant shelling. Late on the evening of February 24, 2025, the Russian army launched a combined attack on the area. Among other damage, one guided bomb unit struck the town of Derhachi, located 30 km from the Russian border, damaging 10 private homes. Dergachi Lyceum No. 2 had already been heavily damaged during the bombardments of April to June 2022, with shattered windows, a damaged roof, and a destroyed heating system. No public institution in the community has escaped the damage from Russian shelling. While much of the area was under occupation, the Russian army was unable to reach the town of Dergachi itself.
